This outfit is very similar to the earlier Silvered Raven post, but with a few red-hued additions.  The skin and hair are the same; the skin is “Sunkissed” – in Medium – with “Black Eye Makeup and Red Lips” by  Thalia’s Skins [SLurl: Thalia], while the hair is “Honey Bun” by Curio [SLurl: Curio].

We get to see the gorgeous “Leather Trench Coat” by Thalia Tal of Thalia’s Fashion [SLurl: Thalia] in its lovely red incarnation.  Really; this coat should be a part of everyone’s wardrobe.  Did I mention it’s unisex, the trench part is a prim that can be removed to create a sexy short leather jacket, and there are open and closed versions?  It comes in Black, Red, and Brown and sells for L$245 for both Open and Closed each.  What are you waiting for?  Go get it!

Once more my top is by the late MekaNoiZe Labs, but this time I have changed the bottoms to the Trench Shorts that come with the “Leather Trench Coat”.  Yes, every coat set you buy has matching, leather knickers.  Does it get sexier than that?  I don’t think so.

The gloves make an encore performance from Silvered Raven; they are a piece of the “Howlett Set” (L$150) from the Pixel.Lounge sets at PixelDolls [SLurl: Port Seraphine].

I chose shoes this time around that would show off my new favorite hosiery, Noirran Marx’s own “Unisex Garter Socks”, available at Subtle Submission [SLurl: Filatoponic].  You can grab a pair for a cool L$50.

The shoes are actually a pair of ankle boots I ran across on a random shopping trip a few months back.  They were so cute and high quality, that I snapped up one in every color (I have a very bad habit of doing that – what fashionista doesn’t, I ask you?!).  These “Charlotte Low Boots”, by camilla Yosuke, sell for L$399 a pair.  In Crimson Death, I am sporting them in Black, but they are also available in Violet, Olive, Grey, Brown, & Blue. You can grab your own pair at the popular lingerie store Insolence [SLurl: Venom].

The earrings are, once more, “Dream” by Curious Kitties [SLurl: Curious Kitties]; this time in red.  I am a devoted fan of Ameshin Yossarian’s work and her chokers I always end up buying in ever available color.  My favorite jeweler, though, is Rosie Barthelmess of Sable Rose Jewelry [SLurl: Filatoponic]; and not because she is my best friend.

I’m not the kind of gal to pay idle compliments; if your stuff looks like crap I am probably going to tell you that are creating steaming piles of dog doo (though I will say it nicely).  Rosie’s baubles are some of my favorite jewelry because they are good; very good.  The detail that goes into each piece is stunning (you really have to zoom in to see the intricacy of some of her designs), and the designs are all unique originals.  I am not sure where she gets her inspiration from, but the end result is always breathtaking.  If you haven’t checked Sable Rose Jewelry out yet, I highly recommend visiting her main store at Filatoponic or one of her satellite stores; see her blog for more information.  Rosie has also created a neko and furry branch of Sable Rose Jewelry catering specifically to our fuzzy, furry friends; be sure to visit All Earz [SLurl: Elliquiy] for neko jewelry and piercings.

All in all, Crimson Death is a must-have outfit for the sexy vampire or gothy vixen and is appropriate for nighttime prowling or daytime stalking.  Need to get more casual in a hurry?  Simply take off the trench prim and throw on some jeans.  Voila!  Sexy and ready for anything.

This outfit really just kind of fell into place throughout the day and I was shopping; not much planning went into it at all. That makes it, I think, just perfect as my very first Izzy Chic installment.

The outfit came together after my best friend, Rosie Barthelmess, took me out shopping.  Some items I picked up at House of Curio got me playing around with my old sets from the sadly now-defunct MekaNoiZe Labs; they are really great for mix-and-matching and I just love the cyberpunk look.

After playing around with those for a bit, I found Thalia’s Fashion [SLurl: Thalia] – completely by accident – on an in-world search.  I decided to try it out; my checkbook was to soon become much smaller.

I was running around this place like a kid at a candy store.  I have no idea how much I spent and I don’t want to know.  Let me just say that Thalia has a wonderful store with great stuff, and I highly recommend you hightail it over there if you haven’t already been.

How good, you ask?  Let’s put it this way.  I wear nothing but Sin Skins 2.0 [SLurl: Port Seraphine] as my primary and only skin; and the original Sin Skins before that.  Nothing.  Ever.  I have – in case you didn’t notice – an odd sort of face shape and a lot of skins just change the shadows/angles oddly and make me look…not like me.  The best testament I can give to Thalia’s talents is that – for the first time ever since buying Sin Skins – I have found new skins I truly love.

I bought the entire set/fat pack of both her “Medium” (Fat Pack: $L245, Individual Skins: L$50) and “Sunkissed” (Fat Pack: $L245, Individual Skins: L$50) skins (I am wearing “Sunkissed” with Black Eye Makeup and Red Lips in these photos) and I truly do adore them.  They are porcelain-smooth, delicate, refined, and beautiful.  You should absolutely check them out (they are located on the second floor).

The hair is an absolute fave that I picked up at the ’08 Hair Fair (I still haven’t gone through that folder!) and is by Curio [SLurl: Curio].  I really like Curio’s hairs; they are cute, soft, and natural-looking.  You can grab “Honey Bun” for L$200 a color pack.  Color packs available with the following available colors:

I was just about to finish up my shopping when I saw The. Coat at Thalia’s Fashion.  The Leather Trench Coat – did I mention it comes in red (and brown), too? (Pics coming next post!).  There is an open and closed version and it is also unisex.  The wing emblem on the back can be seen in one of the photos below.  It can be worn as a short coat, if that suits your fancy, or you can add the awesome trench prim (two sizes, both re-sizable) as I have done.  It – in all colors and both open and closed versions (two different vendors) – was worth the L$245 price tag.

The gloves are a throw-over from the “Howlett Set” (L$150) from the Pixel.Lounge sets at PixelDolls [SLurl: Port Seraphine] that has quite a few really cute outfits.  The gloves, undershirt (a cool chest-to-waist, cyberpunkish strap), and shirt (a midriff-bearing, ripped and cyberpunk-looking piece) I wear with almost every cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic outfit I create; the outfit is worth buying just for those pieces alone).  The PixelMuse “Luna Noir” ($L10) set is another that is great for mix-and-matching to get that perfect cyberpunk/post-apoc look.

Though the thigh-high boots really cover up my new favorite garter socks, I must mention them.  They come from my friend and one of my favorite designers, Noirran Marx, of Subtle Submission [SLurl: Filatoponic].  Not only are Noir’s designs novel and sexy, they are extremely reasonably priced.  Anyone looking to buy quality clothes and accessories on a budget would do well to visit her main store at Filatoponic.  As for the socks, she was one of the first people to create actual garter socks in-world and they are now all the rage and everywhere to be found!  The ones I am wearing here are the “Unisex Garter Socks”; grab yourself a pair for only $L50.

I had to do some more research on the shoes, which I have had for over two years, but found they are still available (along with some other very sexy latex, laced-up, leather outfits and shoes).  They are “Telia Thigh High Boots” and come from Crucial Creations [SLurl: Gama] and sell for $L299.  You can get the same type boots – only with different names – in a gray tone, “Black Satin”, and a sultry red, “Sinful F-Me” for the same price.

The earrings – “Dream” – come from one of my all-time favorite stores, Curious Kitties [SLurl: Curious Kitties].  I can spend some serious money in here.  Everything from neko/furry to cute to goth to punk to cyberpunk to vamp is covered here.  Skins, hair, clothes, and accessories are done in Ameshin Yossarian’s unique design and high quality work.  If you have never checked out this store, I cannot recommend enough stopping by one day (with a cache of L$ you don’t mind letting go of!)

All in all, the outfit I have dubbed “Silvered Raven” would work for any dark alley victim hunts, wickedly-inclined club events, or deadly RPing one might want to indulge in.  Of course, if you are a vampy vixen like me, it’s ideal for everyday wear as well.
